Fee Details

  • INR  32,000 for Indian participants for twin-sharing accommodation.

  • INR 39,000 for Indian participants from bilateral and multilateral organisations for twin-sharing accommodation.

  • Euro  1,500 for international participants for twin-sharing accommodation.

  *All above amounts indicate per-person fees and is Inclusive of boarding and lodging for seven days with all meals, training materials, local travel to field location and field work expenses


Please note that since TheWorkshop is a non-sponsored event that needs to pay for itself, scholarships are offered very selectively. We, however, currently have two schemes designed to give organisations more value for their money. 

 

Discounts

  • For every 10 participants from an organisation; the 11th can participate at 100% discount
  • For every 5 participants from an organisation; the 6th can participate at 50% discount

Note: Only one discount scheme can be availed of at a time

 

Fee payment

The following payment options are available:

Indian participants: Bank transfers, DD/cheques (in favour of Praxis Institute for Participatory Practices) sent to Praxis Institute for Participatory Practices, BB5, Second Floor, Greater Kailash Enclave II, New Delhi 110048.

International participants: Through bank transfers. For details, write to info@theworkshop.in All registrations will be confirmed on the receipt of fees. In case of cancellations prior to the start of the workshop, Praxis reserves the right to withhold part of the fee for administrative and opportunity costs (see application form for details).

Replacement of participants with similar profile is possible

 

Scholarships

The Madhura Pandit Scholarship is offered in memory of young, committed and diligent Praxian, Madhura. This scholarship will cover the workshop fee for one participant.

Eligibility criteria for people applying for Madhura Pandit Scholarship

  • Indian national
  • Belonging to Dalit/Muslim/Tribal community
  • Working at the grass-roots level in rural/urban areas in a social development related sector following payment options are available:

All applications will be reviewed based upon the information submitted and the decision of the review committee will be final. The selected candidate will be required to submit a report on the impact that the workshop has had on her/his work within 6 months of the workshop
